Rachel Malina graduated from Georgia State University in 2008 where she competed on the women’s tennis team and received a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2015. She completed an Orthopedic Residency with Mercer University. She is certified in Pilates through Balanced Body Level I/II along with Functional Dry Needling through MyoPain Seminars. Rachel’s research includes Therapeutic Neuroscience Education and Pain Sciences. She is a member of the APTA-Orthopedic Section, Atlanta Track Club and her hobbies include running, trail racing, adventuring, MMA, tennis, yoga, writing, painting, reading and mindfulness meditation. She embraces a holistic approach to wellness to address the imperative mind-body connection along with evidence-based care for rehabilitation in all populations.
